The 2011 – 2014 Statement of Intent outlines the Standards Council’s key strategic areas of focus for the next three years, including how we will continue to build on the success of previous years to maximise our value to New Zealand.
As a critical part of the national standards and conformance infrastructure we support our stakeholders to achieve their outcomes, so that they can positively contribute to New Zealand’s economic growth and public well-being. Our Statement of Intent outlines our impacts and ongoing commitment to financial sustainability through improving Standards New Zealand’s efficiency and effectiveness.
The Standards Council’s ultimate goal is to see New Zealanders experience greater prosperity, safety, health, and overall convenience and enjoyment through standardisation.
