AS/NZS CISPR 12:2009 Vehicles, boats and internal combustion engines  Radio disturbance characteristics  Limits and methods of measurement for the protection of offboard receivers

Provides protection for broadcast receivers in the frequency range of 30 MHz to 1 000 MHz when used in the residential environment. Compliance with this Standard may not provide adequate protection for new types of radio transmissions or receivers used in the residential environment nearer than 10 m to the vehicle, boat or device. Comments: Work is underway to update NZS 5433:2007 with the latest changes published by the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods (UNRTDG). A committee of technical experts is to be established to oversee and advise on the necessary changes. An amended draft is expected to be released for public comment in September 2009.
