The Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board proposes to discontinue the common examination 9194 as a minimum standard of registration as a certifying tradesperson. The Board proposes to include the competencies that were previously assessed by this examination in the trade specific certifying examinations 9195, 9196 and 9198.

DR AS/NZS 2280 CP Ductile iron pipes and fittings (Revision of AS/NZS 2280:2004)

To provide a standard manufacturing specification to be used by manufacturers and purchasers of ductile iron pressure pipes and fittings. This revision provides for coating systems additional to those described in the previous edition. This revision also includes a water contact requirement for recycled water.
